Greek Burrito

Hey ya'll!

I got my baby! Her name is Sister Dagley and she's from Lehi, UT but grew up in San Diego, CA. She's so amazing! She's ready to work hard and she has so much faith. It's going to be another great 6 weeks! We're actually planning on being companions for 8 transfers sooo....

We've had some really cool experiences everyday so far. My favorite has been Erol. We met him on a bench at the beach and sat down and had a great conversation with him. We even taught him the Restoration! He said we were the highlight of his day and then gave us his email. We've been in contact with him since and he calls us his "spiritual daughters" hahah. He's so cool. He's about 60 years old and from Turkey. He's got some interesting ideas about God, but he was interested to hear our message.

That was just one of many miracles we've had and I know many more are to come! I have taken to heart my scripture that I sent in my last email (Proverbs 3:5-6) and I just want to testify that it works! When you put all your trust into God, He is going to direct your paths. As soon as you put your trust in yourself, you're gonna get lost. I had to learn that the hard way this week haha.

Things are going great in Beautiful British Columbia. Everyday I'm more and more grateful to have this privilege of serving Heavenly Father and testifying of Him to all that I meet.

For this is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. -Psalm 48:14

The Training Wheels Are Off

Hey everybody!

So transfer calls were on Saturday... craziest night ever. First off, we have a Filipino sister who bought balut and had us all try it. I started drinking the liquid out of the egg but then it was so gross so I just started to pour it out and the duck fell out when I did that... so I didn't really get to eat the whole thing but honestly, I'm fine with that hahah. Then for some reason Sister Nielsen decided she wanted to be covered in peanut butter? Not sure why... I'm still confused about it lol.

Then we heard transfer news! I'm staying here in Vancouver for the third transfer in a row but I'm training a new missionary! The other set of Sisters in Vancouver aren't being replaced so I'm getting their entire teaching pool as well. I'm a little nervous because I'm still so new, but I know how much it will help me to grow. I'm really going to learn how to put all of my trust in Heavenly Father. My scripture for next transfer is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

I'm really excited to meet my baby tomorrow! It will be weird to be back in the mission home but be on the other end of things. Crazy that I was just there 12 weeks ago to meet my trainer. I have learned so much since then and I still have so much to learn! I'm looking forward to the next 6 weeks.

I love you all! Keep putting your trust in God and He will guide you!
